Dual Shades

Dual shades, also known as rainbow shades, are the latest development out of roller shades and are well-liked among customers who wish to have control of light penetrating the room as and when needed in an easy-to-operate manner.

Each set of dual shades comes in two shades applied in multiple alternating layers of 3” (75mm) blackout shade and 3” clear shade.  Operated by a pulley system, the customer is free to control the amount of light desired in a room setting by adjusting the blackout shades against the clear shades.  When blackout shades are alternated with clear shades, 50% of the light will be allowed into the room; and when both the blackout and clear shades are fully aligned against one another, all 100% of the light will be denied into the room.

Dual shades are installed pelmets that allow the shades to roll all the way up and conceal within.  Not just easy to use, these shades are also easy to maintain simply by steam cleaning or vacuuming.

Dual shades are a neat solution highly recommended for use in rooms that are air-conditioned, such as the study and master bedroom, and rooms with windows that are half-glass or with ledges.
